Fine grit carbide cutter (red stripe).
Cemented carbide, commonly called widia from the German words "wie Diamant" - "like a diamond". It is a material produced from various metal carbides, such as tungsten or titanium. Tungsten carbide, from which the cutters are made, shows impressive hardness, strength, resistance to abrasion and high temperatures.
Characteristics of carbide cutters:
Very hard and durable, resistant to mechanical damage.
They do not transfer heat, they do not heat up.
They do not cause vibrations.
Thanks to the spiral arrangement of the teeth, they quickly remove the mass without heating the nail.
They operate at low and medium speed.
They do not require the use of softening preparations to remove mass from the nails.
They can be disinfected and sterilized.
They fit any available milling machine with a "twist and lock" head and a shank diameter of 2.32-2.35 mm.
Application of carbide cutters:
Removing hybrid varnishes.
Preparation and removal of gel and acrylic mass.
Giving shape to extended nails.
Removal of nail and epidermis calluses and calluses from the heels.
